Spending Time With The Lord

 My walk with God maybe 3 years ago and before was always on and off. I grew up Baptist so I knew a lot about the order in the church such as (going to children's Sunday school, being an usher, being on the youth choir) I never really had a relationship with the Lord, like I never fully knew anything about him until about 2 Years ago, I started really getting to know the lord through my NOW church Amazing Faith Outreach Ministries. I started praying a alot, reading the Bible (I recommend reading the gospels in the Bible first and getting a study bible), Fasting, and so even writing letters to the Lord. My walk has been stabled and even though everyday has its challenges, I can honestly say it's so much easier knowing God is with you and that you can go to him for help. 

Here's a breakdown on how I spend time with the Lord :

#1 Reading the Bible/Study Bible https://a.co/d/bCEYbsw (Write down what you've learned from the chapter you are reading/studying)

#2 writing letters to the Jesus (Anything that's on your heart)

#3 Fasting (4 hours or more from food and meditating on the lord, praying, listening to worship music)

#4 Listening to worship music 

#5 Prayer (talking to the Lord)

Everyones walk with God looks different. Everybody is different and unique in their own way. God loves an authentic true relationship that lives by living in the World but not OF IT. Jesus said we cannot serve to masters, Its either you love the one and hate the other. I try my best to make God my first priority in everything I do. I try to come to him for everything, cry out to him and give him my all. He deserves all the Honor, Glory, Praise and so much more.
